Snyder Environmental Services, Inc. (SES) has served the Mid-Atlantic region with trenchless services in various ground conditions since 1979. We pride ourselves in completing every project we start, no matter how challenging. We typically run four to five crews capable of completing horizontal boring and jacking crossings. We have successfully completed crossings (ranging from 4” to 60”) under highways, railroads, streams, wetlands, buildings, high pressure gas mains, protected trees, and other structures. We also have Certified Welder credential holders on each of our bore crews.

Our crews are outfitted with the necessary equipment (crew cab trucks, welders, torches, generators, pumps, power/hand tools, etc.) to complete each job efficiently. Our fleet of owned equipment includes numerous excavators, shoring systems, a variety of different sized bore machines, Robbins SBU’s (rock cutting heads) ranging from 24” to 48” – larger diameter rock bores (up to 60”) can also be constructed with additional rental fees. We also own an Akkerman Guided Boring Machine (GBM) pilot tube system, a TT Technologies Grundo-Pit System (a pit launched directional drill for short-service distances), bentonite mixing and pumping equipment to aid in pipe jacking, and numerous pneumatic ground piercing tools. We also have the capabilities, and experience, to direct-jack RCP crossings as well.
