Estimator/Project Manager – Trenchless Services Division

General Description:

Estimator/Project Manager directing the Trenchless Services Division of Snyder Environmental. The primary responsibility is managing the Trenchless Services Division. This position will report to the president of Snyder Environmental Services.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, or a 2-year degree in engineering technology and 5 years of related job experience is preferred, or at least 10 years of related experience with five years of management
  • Experience with HeavyBid and InSite SiteWork Software is a plus
  • 5+ years of construction bidding experience is required
  • Must possess excellent math skills, verbal & written communication skills
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Suites

Essential Functions:

  • Perform material take-offs for each job
  • Estimate all costs for trenchless work using bidding software
  • Prepare all quotes for customers
  • Review and oversee all contracts
  • Read and understand geotechnical reports
  • Order bonds for each construction project, if required
  • Produce a record of jobs bid, bidding success and work on hand
  • Order materials for each location
  • Directly manage field superintendents
  • Create schedules for all the crews
